Rook A child prodigy A genius Future Aviator I wanted a Steampunk char and he is just too cute but i was too lazy to color this so I made a pretty [lame] background instead |D Rook likes to think more than talk. He will think in the middle of a conversation about whatever catches his mind and speak in sentences with complexity contradicting his age [12]. But even as a genius, he's pretty naive and willing to dive into things that he knows nothing about. Rook enjoys reading and the outside world, especially being high up in the air. Somehow through his large noggin, he's able to retain his childlike spirit and is about as energetic as a lion cub. He hates sour stuff and people who talk outta there behinds...and show offs...but his mouth usually is what gets him in trouble as he'll jump into conversations and affairs that have nothing to do with him. His interest in aviation is pretty intense and he'll even skip meals to study...at times, sometimes when he thinks he's mastered a skill or lesson, he'll be lazy about it. When it comes to others, he's shy when it's not in the classroom or has nothing to do with lessons as he doesn't know how to get into what's "in". Which makes him an awkward little munchkin. He's nimble and quick Father is dead Mother is a lazy hoe [lol, not really, but she brings lots of men to the house] Aunt is super strict and cares for him Hm...I think that's it for now. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Why do they call rump roast "rump roast"?
Well, no one would eat it if they named it "cow ass".
You asked for some critique?
The character is very cute and the linework is nice. There's a lot of attention to detail there. ^^ When you zoom out, you can see he looks a little tilted backwards, especially his top half. The legs also threw me off until I examined them more closely and found out that the rounds I had thought were knees were actually part of his boots.
But simply adorable overall.
